Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 15, 2026

PointYield uses user-declared intent, product activity, and partner attribution signals to provide travel rewards decision-support. This policy explains those data categories in plain English.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains the information PointYield collects, why we collect it, and how it may be used to operate and improve the service. PointYield is a decision-support platform for travel rewards, points strategy, Radar alerts, and weekly decision reports.

Information We Collect

PointYield may collect account, product usage, travel-intent, points-strategy, billing, alert, report, and partner-attribution information as needed to operate the service.

Information You Provide

  • Account information such as email address.
  • Home airport and nearby airports.
  • Travel goals, target regions, target destinations, and travel windows.
  • Cabin preference, number of seats, flexibility preferences, and willingness to position to another airport.
  • Points balances, cards held, and transferable currencies entered by the user.
  • Watched routes, primary real-time route selections, plans, preferences, and feedback such as marked booked or not useful.

Information Collected Automatically

PointYield may collect product usage events such as onboarding saved, route watched, alert viewed or clicked, weekly report generated or clicked, decision state viewed, partner outbound clicked, booking link clicked, checkout started, checkout completed, paid conversion, and cancellation events.

PointYield does not need or ask for full credit-card numbers. PointYield does not execute points transfers, bookings, or card applications.

How We Use Information

  • To operate account, Plan, Radar, Alerts, Weekly Decision Report, and related product surfaces.
  • To personalize decision-support around home airports, watched routes, travel goals, points balances, cards, and flexibility.
  • To measure whether users trust and act on PointYield guidance.
  • To maintain security, debug errors, monitor product health, and improve the service.
  • To support billing, subscriptions, affiliate attribution, partner reporting, and beta-readiness analysis where applicable.

Affiliate and Partner Tracking

Affiliate or partner links may use tracking parameters, referral identifiers, or attribution technology so PointYield and partners can understand whether a click or qualifying action occurred. These tools should not be treated as a guarantee that compensation was earned or that a partner offer is best for a user.

Payments

Payment processing, when enabled, may be handled by Stripe or another payment processor. PointYield should not receive or store full payment card numbers. Payment processors may collect and process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Analytics and Product Improvement

PointYield may use privacy-conscious analytics and behavioral events to understand onboarding completion, watched-route creation, alert/report engagement, card or booking click intent, paid conversion, cancellation, and product usefulness. We aim to avoid storing raw sensitive information in behavioral metadata where counts, bands, booleans, or normalized codes are sufficient.

Data Sharing

We share limited information with service providers as needed to operate the service, process payments, measure affiliate attribution, maintain security, deliver emails or messages, debug errors, and improve the product. We may also share information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of PointYield, users, or others.

Data Retention

PointYield may retain account, product, alert, report, billing, and behavioral records for as long as needed to operate the service, satisfy legitimate business needs, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Some derived or aggregated intelligence may be retained separately from raw user-entered details.

Your Choices

Users can update account and Radar Beta setup information in the product where available. Users can contact PointYield to ask about privacy requests, account questions, or data practices.

Security

PointYield uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no service can guarantee perfect security. Users should avoid entering sensitive information that PointYield does not request, such as full payment card numbers or account passwords for third-party travel providers.

Children's Privacy

PointYield is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

PointYield may update this Privacy Policy as the product, partner relationships, legal requirements, or data practices change. The Last updated date will reflect the latest posted version.
